Our Mission
The Maritime Preservation Trust is a community maritime educational organization based in the Port of Los Angeles. The purpose of the foundation is to provide an avenue so that willing professionals in the maritime industries can pass their craft skills and knowledge on to future generations. We are doing this by restoring, maintaining and campaigning vintage and historically significant watercraft of all types.
