Our Mission
The Maritime Preservation Trust is a community maritime educational organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The purpose of the foundation is to provide an avenue so that willing professionals in the maritime industries can pass their craft skills and knowledge on to future generations. We are doing this by restoring, maintaining and campaigning vintage and historically significant watercraft of all types.

Our mission is to train the next generation of skilled Mariners sailors boat handlers and maritime professionals.
Friendship
We are like-minded people working together to preserve our Maritime Heritage. The friendships and legacies we build and preserve last longer than a lifetime.
Craftsmanship
We provide a program that builds craftsman. In our program, we provide the opportunity for youth of all ages to work right alongside skilled professionals to learn the trade skills necessary to maintain and preserve our maritime antiquities.
